You pretty much say this to everyone you meet in the UK. Your child's teacher, the salesperson in the store, the cashier at the till, your neighbor, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker....you get the picture. Just be sure you say it an octave above your normal speaking voice and very quickly. Just a quick and chirpy......
