The village of Haughton is about 30 minutes from our house and is known in the area for its Christmas lights.
Nearly every house in the village is covered in lights with one corner house in particular that is stunning. People from all over the area drive in, park, and walk the village streets to look at the lights. All the boys were tuckered out from a long day, but Sierra and I were dying to go. We drove to Haughton and took the grand tour. The pics below really don't do it justice, but it was an amazing adventure and a wonderful time with my mini me. It definitely put us in the Christmas spirit.

The best part is that the event is free to the public. Several of the houses put out donation buckets and a wishing well. Any money raised goes to local charities. Last year they raised over 7,000 pounds. What a great event for a good cause!
