Love this cutie pie. He is growing up really fast.

Jungleland
We found a new mecca that we can run to whenever it rains. Jungleland is our local soft play/train ride/mopeds/indoor mini golf/bowling. Thought you might like to see one of our local hangouts.
Walk a Mile to School
Thought about it today and realized all of our children will actually be able to say, "When I went to school, I had to walk a mile both ways." Today we inducted Sully into this process. He did a pretty good job of staying on the path, and then he really didn't. Oh and we did find some dandelions.

Cinderella
We went to see the new Cinderella movie. I promised Sierra that she could dress up like a princess for the movie. Desi took one look at Sierra and said he wanted to dress up in a costume too. He also found our next movie....The Avengers.

This creek is right behind my house and as you can tell it is already providing us with lots of entertainment!

Shrewsbury: Quarry Park
This was our second trip to Shrewsbury, and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely beautiful outside. This time we headed to the opposite side of the city and spent the day in an area known as Quarry Park. The park is enormous and sits right next to the River Severn. We spent some time by the water playing at a local playground and fun fair. Desi liked watching the canal boas on the river.
There is a sort of secret garden in the middle of the park that was in full bloom. They even had a hidden trail that looked like something out of The Shire in the Hobbit. Sierra told me, "It looks like a place that a fairy would like to live." The only down side was that the flowers were so pretty that Sullivan wanted to stop and pick up every one. A clear no no for the garden and quite frowned upon by the locals.
The school holidays worked to our advantage because a local fun fair just happened to be there that weekend. The kids played forever in the inflatables.
Our last stop was a quaint little pub called the Armory Arms. There were lots of antique pictures on the wall, and I was obsessed with the bookshelves across multiple walls throughout the pub. Maybe someday, I'll get to come back and linger by the fire with a good book and a pint.
Oh and we couldn't forget the ice cream.
Muddy Sully
So Easter Sunday was gorgeous! The kids and I played tag and hide and seek in a beautiful field behind our house. Zach and Sully disappeared for a long time. The kids and I hunted them down and walked up on this sight. Zach had introduced Sully to a mud puddle, but not just any mud puddle. Nope he opted for the stickiest, muckiest mud puddle England had to offer. Every bone in my body was cringing because Lord only knows what bacteria and terrible things were in that mucky mess. However, the damage had already been done. Although I didn't get a smile on camera, Sully was in heaven. So he got about 5 minutes in mud heaven before I pulled the plug on that adventure. Zach earned the right for clean up duty. Sierra commented on the way home, "He was so happy Momma! He loved it!" What have I gotten myself into with a little tomboy and two little boys....apparently a whole lot of messes!!
Skype Life
Technology is amazing! Caught this photo of the kids skyping with Zach's family. Desmond is showing off his new costume and Sierra is demonstrating how she can skip rope. Just wanted the memory of how we stay in touch back home and still find ways to share our milestones. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be if we couldn't connect like this. We love seeing everyone. Keep on skyping with us!

Easter Egg Hunt in the Night Garden
Captain America
Desmond loved his Captain America costume from the Easter Bunny. We couldn't get enough of it either, so we took a thousand pictures. Here are a few of our favorites.

Gardening with Daddy
Zach put his green thumb to good use and planted some flowers out front with the kids. We all got in on the gardening action.
Worms
One of the kids favorite parts about planting flowers were the worms. Nothing like letting your kids get in touch with nature, right?
Sully on the Move
He's a busy bee, a messy man, and perhaps a bit exhausting at times, but golly....he sure is a cutie pie!
