Easter Egg Decorating

So decorating Easter eggs proved to be a bit tricky with brown eggs.  Sadly, I did not know that eggs are naturally brown and that we bleach them in the States until we moved here.  The British are a bit more environmentally conscious and therefore do not provide you the option of purchasing chemically treated eggs.  We are all for less chemicals in our food, but this did not prove helpful when trying to dye Easter eggs.  We did finally get the dye to work and they came out a bit muted, but the tradition was upheld and the kids had fun.  A win all around in my book!
